The dala (ದಾಳ) — a cuboid die from Kannada tradition — is cast each turn. Its face lands on one of the sacred throws: 2·Dooga · 3·Teeni · 4·Chari · 7·Sat · 10·Dus · 14·Chaudah · 25·Pachees · 35·Paintees. Sat, Dus, Pachees, Paintees & Chaudah are graces — you throw again. Dus, Pachees & Paintees may also bring a piece from the Charkoni onto square 1.

Chronicle

Cast the dala (ದಾಳ) — a traditional Kannada cuboid die. Its face lands on one of the sacred throws: 2=Dooga, 3=Teeni, 4=Chari, 7=Sat, 10=Dus, 14=Chaudah, 25=Pachees, 35=Paintees.
Sat, Dus, Pachees, Paintees & Chaudah are graces — you throw again. Dus, Pachees & Paintees may also bring a fresh piece from the Charkoni onto square 1 (tap a glowing base piece).
Pieces travel counter-clockwise: down your own arm's middle column, around the 52 outer squares, and back up into the Charkoni.
Land on an opponent — anywhere but a ✕ castle — and they are captured: they return to the Charkoni and you throw again.
✕ castle squares are safe: nothing can be captured there, and you may not land on a castle an opponent holds.
The Charkoni must be reached by an exact throw. First player to bring all four pieces home wins.
You may skip a move on a plain throw (2, 3 or 4) — but never on a grace.
